360º information access

Our loft-like library is a "reading greenhouse" where budding booklovers are encouraged to develop into avid readers and skilled researchers. More than just story time, the library is where students practice the skills they will need to find, analyze, and use information throughout their lives. Our collection includes over 18,000 volumes and e-books, as well as periodicals, video, and audio media, carefully chosen to pique the interest of preschoolers, stretch the skills of emerging readers, and sustain the reading habit and support curriculum in the upper grades.

Students from Preschool through fourth grade visit the library weekly to learn library skills, enjoy stories, and do research.  Middle School students come to the library individually or in class groups to check out books and work on research assignments, learning to use and evaluate online sources of information as an integral part of our library and technology objectives.  Students from Senior Kindergarten through eighth grade may check out materials according to the terms of the library's borrowing policy .

Online cataloging and access to online reference sources allow students to research from home or wirelessly at school.  The library also has a collection of parenting and child development books, purchased through the generosity of the Parent Association and available for parents and guardians to borrow.

For up-to-date information concerning the library please visit Mr. Gall's Library Webpage.
