Parent Tours
Small group tours are offered for parents interested in learning more
about the Catherine Cook School beginning in October and continuing
through January. Parent tours are by appointment only; please book in
advance as each tour has limited space. These tours are intended for
adults and we ask that you do not bring children on the tours. Tour

Open House
Please attend our annual admission Open House at the school on Sunday, November 14, 2010
from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. You will have the opportunity to meet
Dr. Michael Roberts, the Head of School, talk with our faculty, meet
current parents, and explore the school! The entire family is welcome to
attend. R.S.V.P. is not necessary.
Parent Interview and Student Visit
Once we receive your child's application, the Office of Admission will call you to schedule a parent interview and a visit for your child. Both parents are required to attend the parent interview. We hold small group visits for students applying to Preschool, Junior Kindergarten, and Senior Kindergarten. Students applying to grades 1-8 will spend a full day visiting the school.

The Catherine Cook School is located at 226 West Schiller Street, on the corner of Schiller and Wieland, one block west of Wells Street in the heart of Old Town.

Public Transportation
The School is accessible by public transportation on the number 22 Clark bus, the number 36 Broadway bus, and the number 156 LaSalle bus. We are located two blocks east of the Brown Line Sedgwick El stop and two blocks north of the Clark/Division subway stop on the Red Line.
Parking
Metered parking can be found on Wells Street. Private parking is available in the Cobbler Square lot on the corner of North Park Avenue and Schiller Street. This facility is privately operated and charges a fee. Drivers may obtain a reduced rate parking ticket from the school's main office for stays of two hours or less. Please note that residential parking rules are strictly enforced in the neighborhood around the school.
