After School Adventures

Spring Session

March 15 - May 28

The registration deadline has now passed.

See "ASA Frequently Asked Questions" for a calendar of the year in advance!

List of Spring ASA Descriptions

"But I Never Read That Anywhere" Information:

    ·  “Registration begins”: All registration is handled online. At the suggested day and time, the registration component becomes live and you may register online. Don't forget to refresh your page as it won't be viewable if you go to the page prior to the posted time.

    ·  "Registration deadline": The registration deadline is when we decide when to cancel classes that do not have enough enrollment and when we start to form class lists for teachers. It is very important that you register by the registration deadline!

    ·  "Late Registration ends": Late registration extends a few days past the registration deadline because humans make mistakes. By emailing Blaire Strom, you can make last minute changes to your child's registered classes without penalty. After the "Late Registration ends" date, a fee of $50 per class will be charged for any additions, changes, or deletions from your child's schedule. The only exception will be made for students who are deemed too young for a class (i.e. a younger JK student in karate or a PS student in a mid-day class who has not adjusted to school yet).

    ·  Enrollment: Most classes and clubs are first-come, first-serve and are considered full once maximum capacity is reached.

    ·  Full/Canceled Classes: If the minimum enrollment is not met, you will be contacted and offered another choice. If a class is full, contact Blaire Strom to indicate your wish to be put on a wait list. Decisions to cancel classes are made on September 2. Payment online is not charged until after the deadline, usually during the first week of class.

    ·  Attendance: Regular attendance for all classes and clubs is expected. There are no refunds for classes missed for any reason. If a teacher is absent, she or he will make a time to reschedule the class during the week of November 29-December 3.

    ·  Pick-up: Parents and guardians should bring a photo i.d. when picking up their child from a new class until they become familiar to the teacher. All parents and guardians must come into the building to sign-out their child. Students will gather on either the 1st floor hallway or the Lower Level Lunchroom where they will wait for you with their teacher. Please do not leave with your child without signing out with the ASA teacher and tell anyone who will be picking up your child instead of you. If you are late picking up, your child will be brought to Lunch Bunch (12:15) or Extended Day (4:25) for appropriate supervision and a fee may be assessed.
